My husband took our English Shepherd to the vet today to be treated for eye swelling and an ear infection. After waiting approximately 45 minutes to be seen, we were extremely disappointed by our experience with Dr. Sievers. We are returning clients and have never experienced an issue during any of our previous visits. Unfortunately, Dr. Sievers was extremely condescending and disrespectful toward my husband during the appointment. At one point, he aggressively grabbed our dog from behind by the neck and snatched her up in a way that was extremely unprofessional, then apologized afterward and explained that he was having “a long day.” Regardless of the circumstances, we do not feel that this was an appropriate way to handle our dog or interact with a client. The vet tech later apologized when Dr. Sievers left the room for his behavior and said she noticed my husbands facial expression when he grabbed the dog and was concerned. His behavior during the visit was concerning enough that it left us uncomfortable trusting him with our dog’s care when we are not present. After leaving, we contacted the front desk to express our concerns. We were told that this type of behavior can be typical for Dr. Sievers and that he is simply “blunt.” We are not a family who typically complains, but we feel that being treated with basic respect and having our pet handled appropriately should be the bare minimum. We have trusted this practice with our dog in the past, which makes this experience especially disappointing. We sincerely hope our concerns are taken seriously and that future clients and their pets have a better experience.

Idk if staff changed but Dr was very rude this visit and also charged me for clip and clean when she literally just buzzed the back of his tail no cleaning of the sore was done. Totally disappointed with services!
