Was quoted $150 “plus a little extra” for my senior horse to be euthanized. I wanted to pay in cash because they offer a discount if you do so I made sure I had $250. The bill was $550. If you’re going to offer cash as a discounted option to pay then be more accurate on your quotes. Way overpriced. Will never use them again.

I can't say enough good things about Conley & Koontz Equine Hospital. They took my mare in during an emergency haul in on a Saturday, even though I wasn't an established client because I live too far away to use them regularly. Their willingness to get her in and help in such a stressful situation meant the world to me. When I arrived, they were prepared and ready to go. Again all on a Saturday! My mare was hospitalized for several days, and throughout her entire stay Dr. Gran kept me updated, answered all of my questions, and even allowed me to visit on Sunday, which gave me so much peace of mind. After I brought my mare home, Dr. Gran personally followed up to check on my mares recovery, which speaks volumes about the level of care and compassion they provide. The entire staff was kind, knowledgeable, and treated my mare as if she were their own (and my mare is.... temperamental to say the least). Thanks to their excellent care, she is now home and recovering well. My only 'complaint' is that the final bill ended up being significantly higher than the original estimate. That said, I understand this was an emergency which can be unpredictable as far as treatment, especially over a weekend, and I am thrilled my mare received the care she needed without delay, so I understand the bill being higher. I am incredibly grateful to everyone at Conley & Koontz Equine Hospital and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of exceptional equine emergency and care. They are top notch!!

Nice facility with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. In house services testing are reasonable. We plan on using them for our veterinarian needs.
