Animal Hospital South

I'm not positive on how they rotate their staff between the Huntingburg location and the Dale location but I have a preference. The receptionist and the vet assistants on Monday and Wednesdays are great, and very kind. They went over everything about my pets visit with me and were easy to talk to. However when I've gone on Tuesdays or Thursdays I can't say the same. There is always one girl usually operating the calls and computer and she is just not very friendly. The staff on those days just seem to want to get there job done and over with. They seem like they could careless about me and my pet. Doesn't make me feel very welcome and satisfied with their care.

I called on a Friday about major swelling, fatigue and shaking in my dog. They said it was likely a tooth abscess and they wouldn’t see him Friday and told me to wait until Monday. I called Saturday about the worsening swelling and sent pics. They had me pick up pain killers since they couldn’t do procedures until Monday. He took one dose and He passed Sunday night 😭 I am so upset because they made me feel like he was okay to wait the weekend and I trusted them. At the very least, they could've advised me to go to an e.v....

The vets and all the staff treated us with kindness and respect. We were not established patients but they were still willing to get us in for an emergency. I had to have my 15 year old cat put down but he died purring, so happy and contented because the vet and staff were so sweet. I held him while he went while the vet and staff were there comforting us. I can not say enough good things about the service and care we were provided

They treated my Baby Honey(a cat) with extra care and handled her very gently. You can tell the Doc really cares and appears to be very thorough. Its very hard to find a vet that gives the extra care and attention to a cat.

We had an emergency and they got us in right away. Fixed our goat up good as new.
