Dr Clayton is a wonderful vet. Been going to her for 4 years now. She's so caring and gentle. She really takes an interest in every animal she sees. There's no superficial tripe. She tells you straight even if it's not good news.

The staff and Vet were very kind and explained all about cat health and keep up! It was also very easy to make an appointment, the overall process efficient, and the location is bright and clean. I'm glad I found such a good place in Lafayette

I took my 2 cats here for nearly a decade, and will say that I loved most of my experiences with the staff and office overall. Very fun atmosphere and loved that it’s cats only. However, I was paying premium for prescription cat food due to my boy’s urinary issues, and spent close to $3000 throughout multiple visits on having my girl’s bad teeth removed. When I asked why they couldn’t just remove them all at once due to her progressed periodontal disease, I was told that they might be able to save some of them. Over the span of 2 years and numerous visits, they ended up removing all of her teeth except her 4 canines. I ended up taking them to a different vet because I was tired of paying so much for each visit, every time it seemed like something new would pop up. The new vet ended up giving my boy a $10 medication to alleviate his anxiety and urinary issues all at once. No more sedation before every vet visit, no more premium cat food or expensive cat SSRI’s to order anymore, just one pill a day. He’s like a brand new cat, and I feel awful that he had to go 8 years of his life in so much discomfort. I’m left wondering why after so many years, frantic phone calls, and last minute visits to the Cat Hospital/Meow Doctors, this wasn’t immediately suggested.
