Gast Animal Hospital has a 4.2/5 rating on Google from 90 reviews. Recent written feedback is mixed: one review notes quick scheduling, a very clean clinic, and a veterinarian and assistant who were good with a stressed cat, while another describes dissatisfaction with follow-up care for a dog’s allergies and frustration about repeated visits without receiving a prescription. A separate concern mentioned is a preference for clients to use the clinic’s pharmacy rather than online pharmacies.

The review below is now outdated and I would no longer visit this vet. I don't support vets who Force clients to use their less efficient pharmacies at a higher cost. I'm leaving the stars but online pharmacies are quicker and more convenient for clients and their pets. I understand it takes up employee time to deal with the pharmacies online. The alternative is having customers pay more for a worse service. So sad how expensive vet care becoming these days. Hopefully this isn't the choice of the new Veterinary practice manager they were recently hiring for. If so, it's a sign things are about to go downhill. They were able to get my cat in right away to clean up an infected wound. The place was very clean. Both the vet and assistant were great with my stressed out cat.

Extremely disappointed in the follow up service with this clinic. The Dr, wanted to string me along with follow up visit after visit for a simple allergy condition. After 2 expensive visits I was still not given a prescription for meds all I kept hearing is bring the dog back again and again....I advise to not use this clinic if your animal has allergies.......now it's two months later and my dog is suffering so bad ....I'm pissed beyond all reality.....now I'm going back tomorrow to coyne where at least they care about my dog
